Sales & Creative Associate

House of Lucky is on the hunt for a year-round sales associate with a creative focus to add to our team! Could you be the right fit?

Tasks will vary widely, but will generally include:
Greeting & assisting all customers with a friendly, positive vibe, and handling all elevated customer service requests with tact & efficiency
Using iPads & POS software to ring up customer purchases and manage returns & exchanges
Providing styling advice & recommendations to clients
Maintaining a clean, shoppable, and organized store and stockroom 
Tagging merchandise efficiently & properly
Monitoring & directing sales associates when Manager is off duty
Instagramming & taking daily insta stories

Candidates should:
Have flexible availability & want to work at least 4 days per week
Have the availability to start now and work throughout the entire year
Be available to work holidays and weekends
Want to flex your creative muscles & pitch ideas
Be fashion forward & have a solid understanding of the House of Lucky “vibe”
Want to be a part of a fun-loving team of girls with the desire to help others
Be flexible & willing to help or lead any project (and LOVE to-do lists!)
Be trustworthy, reliable, friendly, outgoing, and positive!
Be comfortable handling money, making quick decisions, and working in a high-traffic environment
Have an interest in posing for the occasional instagram!

Hiring Seasonally:

CLOSED | Summer Creative & Social Media Intern

House of Lucky is looking for a go-getting intern to assist in the social media, marketing & e-commerce of our shop in Lavallette, NJ. The right candidate will have the opportunity to build his or her portfolio & learn about fashion communications on the boutique scale, and will play a key role in shaping the digital voice & look of a growing brand.

Tasks will vary widely, but will generally include:
Instagramming & taking daily insta stories
Assisting & pitching Instagram planning
Daily Pinterest-ing
Assisting in managing purchase orders & buying
Assist on photoshoots & with product photography
Web / Instagram research
Uploading products & Shopify upkeep
Packing & shipping online orders
Assisting with inventory counts & inventory management
Some product entry into POS system
Light filing & other administrative tasks
Occasional sales work is also required for knowledge of sales trends & to get to know our shoppers!
Candidates should:
Be fashion forward & have a solid understanding of the House of Lucky “vibe”
Want to flex your creative muscles & pitch ideas
Be flexible & willing to help with any project (and LOVE to-do lists!)
Have great writing skills (and appreciate a good pun)
Be comfortable working a DSLR camera (extensive knowledge not necessary)
Have some working knowledge of Photoshop (& willing to learn more)
Have your own laptop & be comfortable using it for some work
Be ok with some light travel (random local errands / trips to the post office)
Be available to work in our Lavallette, NJ location at least 2-3 days per week
Have the availability to work May - August
